Tendoso Kaiseki,
a traditional multi-course Japanese dinner

We started this business with an eel restaurant in early Meiji Era. Since then, we have preserved the traditional taste of the grilled eel, which is considered to be one of the best dishes in Japan.
Along with this grilled eel, we carefully select seasonal ingredients from Yamagata for our Kaiseki.
We change our menu and fine tableware every month so that you can touch the sense of the season in our country. So please enjoy our beautiful and delicious Japanese cuisine, known as World Intangible Cultural Heritage.

Passion for Quality of Rice

Eat rice first if you want to know Yamagata, which is famous for its rice. We have two best brands of rice in Yamagata.”Tsuyahime,” one of them, tastes sweet, smells good and is comfortably sticky looking so beautiful with a white and glossy surface. “Haenuki,” the other, is so nice and chewy that it has been ranked “special A” for more than twenty years, which means it is one of the best brands in Japan.

We serve excellent brands of Wagyu Beef from Yamagata, which have rich and deep taste with a high percentage of fat, such as Yonezawa Beef, one of the three greatest beef in Japan, and Tendo Beef, rare and wonderful one.
